Ellis Fireworks CANCELLATION 2025

To all Cedar Boat Club members and supporters.

The Cedar Boat Club’s fireworks show, normally held near Ellis Park on July 3rd, will NOT be held this year, 2025.

We hope you will join us next year, 7/3/2026, for the USA’s Semiquincentennial (250th year) celebration. Back in 1976, at our country’s Bicentennial, there was no major free-to-the-public fireworks show on the river. The members of the Cedar Boat Club (CBC) started our tradition that year of now long-running, privately funded, free to the public fireworks show that is historically perhaps the biggest and best in the area.

Due to the skyrocketing costs, the CBC is unable to continue our normal presentation for this year. We thank you for your continued support and are sorry we will miss you this year. We hope to see you in 2026 for what we are certain will be the largest celebration yet!
